Small happiness

Fred is a six years old boy. His family are father, mother, grandfather, and grandmother. This is an ordinary family when it glances. However, the life was by no means rich. The grandfather had the illness of a leg, while father's work was not worked, either.


One day, one letter was contained in the mailbox. The letter said that “You are lucky boy!! I invite you to my castle. Please come here at this time with your father.”

“How nice it is!!” Fred said.

Father said, “I can not go with you because I have a lot of works. I will take to somewhere when I free, bear this time.”

Fred gave up reluctantly. However, God had not forsaken him. There was such a continuation in a letter. “I am preparing much present for you. Of course, your father, too.” We decided to go, since grandfather said to us that we had to go. It was a letter from a royal family and was also a chance nothing to be very much.

　　　　And the day came at last. Fred and his father went to the specified place. After a while, the carriage came and they are urged to ride on it. Shaking of the carriage, as they had slept to inside, they had arrived at it unawares at the castle. When it got off the carriage, four sets of parents and children were in others. Probably, they were also invited.


The children were the names of Mary, Jim, and Catherine. Since Mary's house was very rich, having come here did not seem to be so glad, either. It seemed that it preferred living in a house conveniently rather to coming outside. Jim is a genius. It seemed that it was also exciting as part of investigation that he came here. Although it was finally Catherine, she is a glutton and parents were also in trouble. She expected that she was able to eat a gorgeous dinner because it has been to the castle. That is, four sets of parents and children from whom the circumstances which are different, respectively are gathered here.


The man in character with the Master in the meantime came out. He looks like 22 years old. Then he said, “Welcome to my castle！I will entertain you as hard as possible. Now, please come to inside. ”
The gorgeous meal was prepared when it entered into the castle. Catherine tried to eat first of all, when she found it. The Master said that, “Since there is much meal even if it does not hurry. Eat a lot.”
Fred also enjoyed the meal. The taste was very good, and he and his father were taking that it is good to come to the castle. Then, the Master stood up and went to somewhere. He has brought something back to a hand.
”Catherine, what is the happiness that you consider?”
She answered that “To eat！”
He said, “Oh, it is great. I’ll present for you this cake.”
Catherine was very glad and ate the cake. And then, they were talking to everybody, and the time was passed. Suddenly, Catherine said,” The belly is painful. Help me！”
Everybody without one man was surprised. One man-The Master said like this very calmly to maid,” Would you take her and her father to a dispensary?”
They were taken to the dispensary. Master said to us, “I am sorry, Catherine. Although I put and made the heart, since I was not experienced in cooking.”


Night comes, and they get sleep without Jim. He was thinking about the world. This made him awake. The door opened and someone came in. The man was Master. “What’s wrong? You can’t sleep, aren’t you?” he asked.
“Well… I think that we don’t have time enough. When we do something, time is important. I want to much time.” Jim answered.
Master thought deeply and told him. “I have a special medicine. If you take it, you can live forever.”
Jim heard that and was glad at Mater. “Please give me！”
Master said to him, “Of course, boy.”
Master brought the medicine, and Jim took it. Then, Jim got slept soon. Next day, Jim’s father found Jim sleeping at the floor. “Jim！What’s wrong?”
Jim answered nothing. Master came there and said Jim’s father, “Oh my goodness！Yesterday, Jim said to me that he has headache, so I gave him a medicine. However, he has fever now. Oh, I will take him to a dispensary. Would you come with me?”
Because this happened morning and the others got up at noon, nobody knew.


Fred got up and looked around. He felt strange. He asked Master, ”Where are Jim and his father?”
“I’m afraid that Jim got cold, so they got back home.” Master answered.
Fred was disappointed at the news. Master added, “I want you to enjoy. They were unlucky. ”


This day, Master showed us the inside of the castle, and played in the yard. Fred enjoyed himself very much, while Mary seemed to be boring. She said, “It can do also in my house. Is there something special?”
Master asked, ”What is that you need?”
For a while, she thought and answered that, ‘’I want my kingdom. I will be the queen.”
“Oh, that’s great, Mary！I am thinking of that. My friend, the king of the neighboring kingdom, is looking for next king. However, there is no successor and he is in trouble. Why don’t you go to his kingdom? Of course, with your father.” Master said.
Mary was glad and has consented to this talk. Then, Mary and her father went out of the castle.


Master breathed deeply and said like this, “You are the only family. What is your needed? I can prepare anything.”
Fred became fearful, however, calmness did not lose. He answered that, “What I want to most is LOVE. My father, mother, grandfather, and grandmother. They are my treasure！There is nothing that I want in addition to this.”
Master’s motion stopped. “Lo…ve?” He said.
And then, he falls and began to be in pain. Since a dazzling light was emitted, Fred closed eyes. Then, the castle has disappeared and many sets of families had fallen.


The time was made the same and the incidents in which parent and child disappeared were occurring frequently. Probably, the parent and children whom Fred saw were them. Since such an incident was lost after it as the proof. And Fred was praised as a hero who eradicated the evil spirit used as the ringleader. He lived fortunately together with the family.

In life, an important thing is not money or fame, either and is love.
